The Equinox is home to the Orvis Fly Fishing and Shooting School, where participants are educated in fly fishing and shotgun shooting. The fishing school includes instruction on tying fly-fishing knots, fly selection and casting clinics, skills that are tested during the afternoon fishing session. Lessons range from one hour to two days in length. The Orvis Shooting School offers shotgun instruction for all levels. Workshops range from one hour to two days in length.
