Stowe Mountain Resort Cross Country Center offers 35 kilometers of groomed trails and 40 kilometers of backcountry skiing. These trails are the highest in Stowe, and cover all skill levels. An additional 5 kilometers of trails are provided solely for snowshoeing.

Trapp Family Lodge Cross Country Ski Center has the distinction of being the first center of its kind in the United States. There are 27 miles of groomed trails, and another 60 miles of backcountry trails. Equipment can be rented here, and instruction is also offered.

Mountain Meadows Cross Country Ski Resort features 58 kilometers of groomed cross country ski trails. There are a number of separate trails, and these can accommodate almost any skill level. A ski shop is located on the premises.
